very neat, fair price for a twin room (£100 a night) and internet available.

Good location proximal to Paddington Station. New flatscreen tv.

So-called "deluxe" room was tiny. Small table is adjacent to bed, but room is no narrow, one can barely pull chair out from under table enough to get on. This is a bed, bathroom, and phone, and should be described as such; "hotel room" is a slight misnomer, and "deluxe" is a farce.

This hotel is located at a central site, and is quite affordable. It is clear that the hotel went through a recent renovation, because the room that we've stayed in looked new: The furniture, the sink, the faucets, the toilet, the television (LCD), all in mint condition.

Two downsides: 1. The rooms are situated very close to each other, and the corridors are narrow. Consequently, you can hear other guests walking near your room very clearly. So, it is preferable to ask for a room far from the elevator, in order to minimize the number of guests who will pass by your room. 2. The room was quite small. It didn't matter to us, ask yourself if it matters to you.

Nice old hotel in an old building. One needs to allow for some level of discomfort due to this, but for me that was amply rewarded by the nice character of the place. We had a Club room and it was small, but not puny. The staff was correct and nice. Above all, however, the hotel is superbly placed, a short walk from Hyde Park, Paddington station and the Heathrow Express, and 3 main Tube lines.

Staff were very very friendly and accomodating. Loved the fresh fruit at reception gesture. Bed was very comfortable. Location fantastic.

The hotel was modern and in a very good location. I would recommend this hotel for value for money, decor and location, but unfortunately I would have a difficult time recommending on the basis of customer service and staff.

Upon arrival I was informed that the twin rooms were "out of service" and was instructed to have the other two people in our party check in at the sister hotel across the road. Also, our room was by the lift and it was very noisy most of the day and night. It was disapointing that neither of these issues were apologised for, nor was there any offer of compensation.
