For business events and special occasions for up to 200 people, the hotel provides a choice of 8 multi-function rooms.

Food & beverage

The newly refurbished restaurant serves a breakfast buffet with over 120 different dishes from Scandinavia, the continent and North America, as well as a traditional English breakfast. On Friday and Saturday nights, the restaurant is open for dinner, serving a choice of international classics. During the week the restaurant is open for group bookings only, upon request.

Breakfast is served from 06:30 - 10:30 Monday – Friday and 07:00 - 11:30 Saturday – Sunday.
Dinner is served from 18:30 - 21:30 on Friday and Saturday.

Itchycoo offers a tantalizing tapas-style menu in chic, artistic surroundings. Originally created by New York chef Christer Larson, the menu offers a selection of platters, designed to be shared.

A new lounge menu of more traditional fayre can be served both inside and outside the hotel on the Royal Mile during the summer months.

Breakfast of tea, coffee and pastries is served from 07:00.
Lunch is served from 12:00 - 14:30.
Dinner is served from 18:00 – 22:30.

Our hotel offers 238 rooms including Business Class rooms and suites. All rooms are contemporary, comfortable and relaxing, reflecting the individuality of the hotel and its unique location.

Each room displays specially commissioned artworks by a local photographer. The black and white images show contemporary and unusual shots of Edinburgh ranging from the new Scottish Parliament building to Greyfriars Bobby.

Area information

Located in the heart of the city, the Radisson SAS Hotel, Edinburgh is close to the designer shops on Princes Street, as well as some of the city's top tourist attractions. Edinburgh Conference Centre is just 5 minutes away by taxi.

Important information

Please be informed that the pool will be closed from the 5th of January 2009 until the 19th of January for essential maintenance work. All other leisure facilities (sauna, gym, beauty treatments) will be open for use.

The room was excellent and the included breakfast was very nice. The hotel was in the center of Edinburgh and very close to the shops and the castle.

I specifically requested a non smoking room. On arrival, having made the reservation 5 months in advance, I was told there were no non-smoking rooms available. Requests were only honoured if you booked direct. The promise was made to air the room. The hotel actually shut the window trapping in the smoke odour. As a result had to keep the window open all night and was constantly disturbed.

My partner and I stayed in one of the Business Class rooms for two nights as on the website it looked nice and abit different from the normal rooms, the complimentary newspaper failed to materialise on both days and the coffee machine was not re-stocked and was empty on entering the room, I would not stay here again as it is grossy overpriced
