This impressive hotel is perfectly situated on the south bank of the River Thames, opposite the Tate Britain art gallery and close to Waterloo rail and underground station.

Waterloo Station provides easy access to France and Belgium via the Eurostar services, and access to several interconnecting underground lines for visiting the city. Vauxhall underground and mainline station is just a 10 minute walk away.

Good hotel, well run by female staff when the thick trainee was not on reception duty.

The rude trainee staff on reception who do not understand the alphabet. Our name is Whittle, but the letter W was misconstrued for double U several times at check-in. His manner was such that any other profession would be preferable for the hotel guests - just get him away from people!

My sister and I regularly enjoy our stays in London. Please note in your Question 4 there is no heading to represent us.

It did have rather a "cold" atmosphere.

Room was very clean and comfortable. The concierge was extremely helpful
in helping us with transport to the airport, as well as with suggestions
for a nice restaurant. The kitchen is also very good. It was the best
hotel that I've ever stayed at in London.

Did a deal on an upgrade with the reception. Staff efficient and
professional. Food in the restaurant was very good.

Executive bar was not open - no explanation why. There were no bath
robes or slippers in the room as detailed on the website. I don't like
the fact that you are entitled to them but have to ask. There's no point
if you are already in the shower! Really dislike little pots of uht milk
- if there is a fridge why cant they put a little jug of fresh milk for
tea/coffee facilities.

The facilities of the room and the location of the hotel

The variety of the breakfast and the fact that we were not be informed
that the executive floor has its breakfast in another location of the
hotel immediately!We had been told 2 days later by the responsible

The location, staff, communal areas.

The bathrobes and towels were very hard and seemed like they had seen better days also we found the dining room for breakfast very depressing as it was one floor down from ground level.
